Re: [Networker] Label Cleaning Media After Replacement

Hello,
Make sure you use appropriate barcode labels and they are preferably not
reused.
Do a cmd line deposit to slot desired for cleaning i.e
nsrjb -d -S slot number
then do
nsrjb -U cleaning number i.e 35 -S slot number of the cleaning cartridge
nsrjb -U 35 -S 102 ( for example)
your cleaning cartridge should have valid barcode to match the volume now
Thanks

Subject
Label Cleaning Media After Replacement
I have changed the cleaning media using the following commands
nsrjb -w -S122 -P1
nsrjb -d -P1 -S122
Cleaning of the tape drives is currently managed by the networker
software.
The cleaning media was labeled as " Cleaning media " in the networker
before i removed it form the tape library.
The new media i put appeared as " unlabeled " and when i tried to label
the media by right click > label , the Label option was marked with
barcode label and i am not able to change it.
How to configure cleaning media in NMC ?
Any suggestions ?
Thanks
