The mminfo command seems to be very powerful. But it tends to give too much
information.

I want to run the mminfo command just to give me this output regarding the
client I ask about:

Last day backup, success or failure
What is the failure
How much data backed up

Is it possible to format mminfo only to give this information?

It would be interesting to know how networker administrators are using mminfo
to monitor their backups.

Hello,
Does your clone use different pool then backups ? if so you can devise the
mminfo query specifically checking completion & info on the pool in
question, you can also, use networkers built in reporting for some of this
information.
You may be able to substitute some of the cmd items to specifically focus
on cloning aspect of the client, i.e, copies, ssid, clflags, pools etc.I
am sure there are many more ways to do the same and other list
participants can illustrate that.

mminfo command

Hi,
thanx very much for the reply....I hav a problem actually..iam using the
below command for listing the contents of the tape
mminfo -a -r
"volume(12),client(35),savetime,savesets(5),sumsize(15),totalsize(15),level,name(30)"

But for suppose when iam doing full backups and if the automatic clone
fails in between for some clients during an unexpected failure and when i
manually clone the tapes , i still cannot get information for the clients
for which the automatic clone failed by using the same command. But in
volume info i can see the information thru networker. Why is this
happening? Is there anyway to check the information ?

Rgds.
