man erase on my 7.3.3 linux system says the syntax is
erase [ -sr ] -a b.t.l
The '-a b.t.l' is what tells it which tape drive to use... It looks
like inquire will also tell you that b.t.l so you can associate it with
the proper tape drive.... If you mess it up and erase the wrong tape....
you get to keep both useless tapes ;-)
