What are the permissions on the /dev/rmt/2cbn device file?

Subject: [Networker] Networker 7.4.3 on Solaris 10 using ADIC i500

We're running nw_7_4_3 on Solaris 10 with an ADIC Scalar
i500 library.

When trying to label an ADIC tape it loads the tape into the drive but
then give this error - "read open error, Permission denied". The tape
is not write protected. When we do an mt status on the drives we get
the following - "/dev/rmt/2cbn: write protected or reserved".

We have tried deleting and reconfiguring the library with various
options but nothing has made any difference.

Please help!!!!!
