Thanks for the reply concerning this, however starting from scratch is not a 
very good option for us, as we have around 2000 tapes stored at Iron mountain.  
Basically what I am hoping to do is move the media database over, so in the 
event that we need to recall one of these 2000 tapes, we will know which tape 
to pull.  Has anyone successfully moved over their media database from linux to 
solaris? Is there a way to export, and then import back?  I am assuming that 
since this is a database, there has to be a way to dump to a db format, and 
then re-import it.
