I take part of what I said back. Some questions ARE going unanswered, but the
more people we can get, the less that will happen. The best thing to do is to
subscribe to the mailing list. I just checked the mailing list, and there are
22 members on the mailing list, and a few others watching via the forum.
Undoubtedly, a few of them are lurkers, but there's definitely some real users
there, as some questions are being answered.
John, you're a sharp guy and I could use you on the list.

John,
There's already a CommVault Forum & mailing list on BackupCentral.com. It's
not very big, but questions seem to get answered. The forum is here:

The mailing list is also on BackupCentral, and the forum and the mailing list
are linked. You have to sign up for a BackupCentral user ID, then click on the
link below.

Oscar,
We are going to be making the exact same transition, but we don't
really have a ton of clients, since most of our data is on NetApps
which need to get backed up.
Our biggest hope is that we can get the CommVault Archiving module
(HSM) working with NFS exported filesystems on NetApps. Are you
planning on going this route as well?
I'm also thinking that there should be a better forum for CommVault
users to share experiences. I'd love to work on setting up a mailing
list for CommVault users like this one.
Maybe a Yahoo group to start?
Thanks,
John
