Hello Dennis,

The recursion is the result of a mount point.  The code is testing to
see if a mount point can be followed, and is getting back status 1232
(which is merely the "The network location cannot be reached" message
that is presented later).

Is there anything "interesting" on your C: volume in terms of mount
points?  Perhaps a mount point that is no longer valid?

If you increase Debug to 5 we may see the directory name of the mount
point that we are attempting to traverse.

(We're bypassing the support organization -- no guarantees that we will
not come to a dead end.  If nothing else, we will be able to give them
more to go on.)

I tried googleing for the "error 1232 on CheckRecurse" message but 
couldn't find any useful information....
