That's what I thought too, but testing proves it doesn't work for me for
_written_

mminfo -q ssid=769091765 -r "volume(7),written(29)"
volume                      written
000001                        138 GB
000002                        155 GB

it just increases the leading blanks before the number of GB

No, I didn't, because my years and years of experience with NetWorker
and the actual documentation in the man page made me confident that
it would work that way.  :-|

Of course, you're absolutely correct.  For some reason, "written" doesn't
work that way.  Maybe because it's value range is "kbsize" rather than
"number" or "size"?

The same thing happens if you use "-xm" with mminfo to export to XML.

Either way, you're right.  There are plenty of fields mminfo can report
on that I've never needed to widen (or even use), but this is the first
one I've found where setting a field width doesn't work.  I wonder how
many more are like that?
