Yes, but staging would not allow us to keep a copy onsite and send a
copy offsite.  We need the ability to copy the data (ie, clone) and then
delete at a later date.  BUT, we also want to delete only when we're
running out of space.  We just can't figure out how to get NetWorker to
let us know how big each disk device is.

Teresa,

You can easily configure staging (Configuration - Staging) from the 
Networker Management Console. Staging will look for the configured
devices 
and will clone data which is not yet recyclable to tape. In this way you

keep all data within the retention period on site.
