Hi Folks. I've had an unrecoverable error on my Networker server and
have installed a replacement server using the same Overland LXB tape
library with 2 each LTO-2 drives. The server is a Sun E-250 running
Solaris 9. I have completed the license transfers and ran jbconfig as an
auto-detected SCSI jukebox. I can mount/unmount tapes through nwadmin or
CLI. The Networker version is 7.2.1 Network Edition.

I was able to run scanner -iv to bring one tape into the Default pool.
This is CAD387L2 below. It shows as read-only with 0% used. I'd much
rather it show that the bootstrap is on the tape - yikes! Fortunately, I
have a hard copy listing of all the bootstraps on about ten different
volumes. I consistently get the below error sequence when trying to run
the DR procedure. This occurs in either tape drive on any tape in the
library. I thought I brought the jukebox over from the dead server
without changing any settings. They are set to defaults at any rate.

Does anyone have an idea what I might try to get the media index and res
back?

Thanks much, Scotty.

NOTICE: mmrecov is used to recover the NetWorker server's media index and
resource files from media (backup tapes or disks) when any of this
critical NetWorker data has been lost or damaged. Note that this
command will OVERWRITE the server's existing media index. mmrecov is not
used to recover NetWorker clients' on-line indexes; normal recover
procedures may be used for this purpose. See the mmrecov(1m) and
