True statement, take it out of one of your 2003 clients and give it a try,
couldn't hurt anything.

Subject: [Networker] Question about VSS and 7.4.2
So do I have this right ... with 7.4.2, I no longer need special licenses
to make VSS backups? So if I upgrade my clients to 7.4.2 (and since my
server is already 7.4.2), I can use VSS in any filesystem backup of a
Win2003 client? (VSS doesn't work in Win2000, right?)
I have "VSS:*=off" in most of my Win2003 client, since I don't have
speciall VSS licenses for them. Now, I can remove that restriction, and NW
will happily do VSS backups of any Win2003 client?
