Waiting for the tape to be eligible for recycling is by far the easiest way to do it, but its also likely the slowest. If you must delete a specific save set from a specific tape, you have to clone all the other save sets on that tape to a different tape, then relabel the original tape. This is also a slow process and it requires two tape drives.
