Right. Having done the update from 7.2.1 to 7.4, I can assure the
readers of this newsgroup that an update enabler to go from 7.2.x to
7.4.x is required. That being said, its no big deal. Just contact EMC
or your favorite reseller to request one and, of course, make sure
your update and software maintenance agreement is in order BEFORE you
do the update and put it in before you update.
