Hello,
We backup each vmware host separately with traditional host based client
install, if you have VCB licence and desire to do image level backups,
there are several approaches each with method, benefit,
features,likes\dislikes, this is a whole new subject with considerable
debate and frankly it's much needed from time to time.
Right now i am looking into ESX Ranger-Vizioncore product.
EMC AVAMAR
& Netapp has it's own facilitator.
Then you could use your home grown scripts to quiesce the running VM and
initiate a backup, this approach is not for the faint hearted and will
require considerable expertise in Scripting, either way having VM on the
SAN probably is a good start.

[Networker] VMWare - ESX
Hello,
Does anyone know if Networker has support for VMWare - ESX ?
We have a request to back up a machine running this. We're currently
running 7.2.2 on Win2003 Enterprise. If anyone has experience with this,
I would greatly appreciate hearing more about it.
Thanks,
Paul Goslin
