Perhaps I was wrong. We are running Networker 7.2.2 and the "messages"
log file essentially contains all of the text from the Savegroup
Completion reports. If you're looking for a different report than that
then perhaps that isn't useful and I don't know if versions 7.3.x or
higher have that same file.
