Interesting you should bring this up. There was a similar discussion on
February 8th. The statement was made at that time that yes, you can
just delete them if NetWorker no longer knows about them. I haven't
personally tried it yet -- but it's on my list of things to do to clean
up what I've inherited.
If you want to read the previous discussion, search the archives for the
messages with the subject "index cleanup" at the beginning of this
month.
