[Networker] Backing up C:\Windows\WinSxS

We run NetWorker 7.4 under Solaris 10 to backup a number of Windows 2003machines (among others). When attempting a full restore of the C:\ drivefrom one of those machines following the instructions set forth in theDisaster Recovery Guide, we discovered that a number of key files(mostly .dll and .sys files) in C:\Windows\WinSxS are never picked up bythe backup process. The directory structure is the only thing beingbacked up, but none of the files in that folder.

I investigated the purpose of that folder as a way to find a clue as towhy NetWorker quietly ignores that whole directory structure duringbackups, and here's what I have found:

Interesting change in the way DLLs are handled.

The question is -- does anyone know why none of these files can ever getbacked up by NetWorker? Does anyone know of a workaround?
