I would try and find the reason for the picker errors, make sure your Tape 
Lib hardware is fully functional & talking to backup server ( verify 
installation, cables etc).
Try to move the tapes within Tape lib without networker ( via Tape lib 
cmds) to verify picker function, Once the Tape lib appears to have no 
errors & is successful in talking to Networker server, you should be fine 
on the Networker front ( you may need to reboot and or run nsrjb -HEvvv 
cmd to resyc lib-No backup actively should be present ).
