[Networker] Broken Pipe Error

Hello,
Have you used scanner to rebuild the indexes, set the client browse and
retention to match and attempted directed restore, do you see the files in
directed restore ? Only for the files you are running into problem with ?
How about cleaning your drives prior to restore ? ( long shot but atlest
you can eliminate any issues with drives)
Do you know how old the data is ? what version of tape drivers were used
while backup, any other differences that you can overcome without
disrupting the backup environment ? Since this restore is critical for
you, it may be worth taking additional steps to get to the data.
Are you recovering over the lan ? if so can you recover to local server ?
to eliminate any Network issues such as resets, errors that can break the
restore process ?
