Do you have the storage_node name/ip as the -P parameter in the nsrndmp_save
backup command?

I am seeing the same thing. On Monday, I set up my main tape library
to be shared with a storage node and the NetWorker server. I have four
large clients, all using NDMP, where I want the data to go to the tape
library via the storage node, but I still see the traffic go to the
server, than the storage node, even though I don't reference the
server's host name in the client resources. The ndmp_save command
explicitly references the storage node too, but the data still wants
to go through the server, than the storage node. If anyone has any
idea on how to go directly to the storage node, please let me know.
