In regard to: [Networker] Tape Age, Willett, Jr., Edward W. (Contractor)...:

Does anyone know a command or a report that networker has that I can use
to tell the age of my media. Management is asking that I identify how
old the tapes in the environment are and having inherited this
environment I don't have a easy way to tell the age of them currently.

Anything that NetWorker stores about tapes or media would be in the media
database, and your window to the information there is the mminfo command.
There are several attributes you may wish to look at, e.g.

mminfo -q 'volume(30),olabel(21),recycled,mounts'

See the man page for mminfo for more information.

I have a vague recollection that older versions of NetWorker would reset
the olabel/recycled/mounts stats if you manually relabelled tapes from
one pool to another, so you may not be able to rely on those fields as
100% accurate if there's been manual relabelling in your environment.
It looks like at least NetWorker 7.2.x gets it right, though, and tracks
those counts even when you relabel to other pools.
