We would like to upgrade our server from its current 7.2.2 to 7.4

What is the most stable version of 7.4 currently available ?
There is only one version of 7.4 available. You might be better off
going with the latest 7.3 until the bugs in 7.4 are worked out. You
would need to put in an update enabler before you update. You need an
update enabler whenever you update from one version to the next. As
for gotachas with 7.4, you should definitely read the release notes
before upgrading.
What's your hardware configuration like and what type of clients are
you backing up?
