Hello,

Questions:
1.Do you recommend Linux or Solaris?
I would go with the expertise you have in the environment and support,
scripting etc, expense might be another concern from what i know, Unix SN,
client licence etc might costs more then Windows-price them out with your
emc rep.
2.Should I have each LTO3 on a separate fiber card?
Depends on which fiber card you use, if you use 4 GB capable card\switch,
you should be able to run 4-6 drives easily per card.
3.Is Sun Fire V440 with 4 CPUs and 4G RAM sufficient?
Don't have expertise with this.I would suggest though that give us more
info, your environment, backup clients, size, policies etc before an
recommendation can be made.
Thanks
