Try running the query below and look for numbers that might cause
arithmetic overflow in an integer variable.

SELECT used FROM [FS88COPY]..sysindexes where indid in (0, 1, 255)

Compare a manually calculated sum from above with this query.

SELECT sum(used) FROM [FS88COPY]..sysindexes where indid in (0, 1, 255)

How large is the database?

Craig

My NetWorker jobs to backup one of my SQL servers has started to fail.
Here's what nrsqlsv.log says (domain, user and server names sanitized):

The user (backup-user) is a member of the AD groups "Backup Operator"
and
also "Domain Admins", so the account should have access to whatever it
needs. I've seen the "Arithmetic overflow error converting expression to

data type int" before, but it's never caused the entire backup to fail
before; it just skipped that particular database, and went on to copy
the
other databases. So I think the problem is something else. I have
verified
that all our licenses are correct, and haven't expired.

How to proceed troube-shooting this? I haven't rebooted this server is
approx 30 days now, altho I don't think that classic "Windows fix" will
solve this.

Thanks
