Yes, I've seen this before and unless you need to run the ad-hoc backup/recover 
gui then you can just do the rpm install with the --nodeps flag and everything 
works just fine.

Has anyone encountered this dependency problem when trying to install
the Networker client on a Fedora 7 Linux box?

[root]# rpm -Uvh lgtoclnt-7.4-1.i686.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
         openmotif is needed by lgtoclnt-7.4-1.i686
