Hallo,

I have a problem. I have NW 7.1.3 as server (Linux) and 2
clients. Clients are Win2000, MSSQL 2000 and NMSQL 4.1.
I want to make a directed recover of a named instance from
client 1 to client 2. I get the error messages:
Error: 'no index was found. You have not backed up any files from this
machine. If you are doing a directed recover you have not backed up any
files from the selected client, or you need to be connected to the
server as a supervisor'
Recovery from the GUI or the command line show the same error even with
the '-$' switch.
Backups worked fine, there are index entries.
Are there any requirements for a directed recover of named instances.
The user who does the recovery is on the networker admin list. Standard
directed file recoveries work.

Anyone who knows this problem.

regards
Bernd
