Hello Patti,

This is a problem in Exchange Server.

Information from Microsoft states that a Full save will generally get
this working correctly, but we have seen a few cases where it does not,
and I those cases further attention from Microsoft was required.

Our MS Exchange backups had been running for several weeks after
installing the client.  The only issue was that the incremental backups
were essentially performing full backups based on the amount of data
that was being put out to tape.  My Windows admin has been on the team
only a few months and inherited the system configuration.  He'd found
that the system was doing circular logging and had taken some steps to
change that.  Since then, I've not had a successful Exchange backup and
my admin has made several attempts to correct this problem.  Apparently
he'd been able to perform an adhoc full backup (although it was very
slow), but the scheduled backups have continued to fail.  The messages
are below:

Networker v7.3.2 JumboUpdate1 on Red Hat Linux Enterprise 4 and the most
current Networker Exchange client on Win2003.  The filesystem backups
for Windows are working fine.  Any ideas?
