Hello,
I'm running my first set of cloning tests.  In looking at the results, I 
see that the cloning process is using only between 120gb and 130gb. These 
are lto-1 tapes (don't even start with me...) 

It looks like the native compression is not being used. The data rate 
appears to be (somewhat) consistent with non-compressed writing - around 
10mb/sec.

How can I tell for sure if compression is happening, and if it isn't, how 
can I force it?
