Yes, I think they are the same problem. However, I do have a "Indexes" pool that all groups save their indexes to.

The change that I made before this started (other than weird NetWorker crashes) was to reduce the target sessions on the two AFTD indexes pool volumes from 40 to 1 -- believing it would better balance the load across the two that way. I have just now increased that target back up to 25. I'll see if that makes this problem go away for me.

Ultimately it sounds like the same problem that the other guy had. I
was having similar issue and just happen to have the luxury of having an
EMC Networker Resident here on site. He basically said that all indexes
should be going to their own pool. We have multiple client types: AIX,
HPUX, Linux, Solaris, Windows, etc and he said that we were having
issues, because our networker server was windows and when we backed up
these other client types, sometimes things would hang due to the OS
mismatch. Every client now backs its index up to a specific pool and we
haven't had this issue since.

I am having a similar issue. And when I stop the group that says it is
100% complete but is still running, the savegroup mail message will tell
me that some client Index was not run.

It's as if the 7.3.2 JumboUpdate 1 (Build 399) code is losing track of
what it is doing.

But your post prompted me to remember that I have something similar
(that was open with EMC briefly) -- the NMC monitoring sessions doesn't
properly clean up some sessions that really finish (client initiated
saves) -- I wonder if this issue is related to LGTpa91748 as I think it
is nsrjobd that is accused in that issue and could be related here.
