Actually, nsrstage -C -V does not delete duplicate save sets. It will
remove from the specified volume any save sets for which there are no
entries in the media database. That's why you can end up with many
copies of a save set if you interrupt staging, the save sets don't get
purged from the media database until the end of the staging process.
Removing the duplicate save sets from the database with nsrmm first will
take care of that.

If I have to kill a staging process, I will then search for the save
sets that have been copied using mminfo, then delete them with nsrmm.
Then the automated staging recover space operation will remove the save
sets from the disk, or I will run the nsrstage -C -V manually.

Hi Librado,

When I had to do this I just ran nsrstage -v -C -V <disk volume>, this
should delete redundant files from the disk device. If this doesn't
work, it didn't in my situation at first, remove the redundant
saveset/clone-ids from the media database using nsrmm (be *VERY* sure
you have the correct saveset/clone-ids) then re-run the nsrstage
command.

Best regards,

Vince
