Hi,
        We use a directive with our NetApp NDMP backups.

We also use non NDMP devices by using a storage node as the proxy by
using the following

Backup Command : "nsrndmp_save -M -P storagenode -I backupserver -T dump
"

As I already said, my understanding is that .nsr files are ignored by OnTAP's dump command. The dump command itself creates its own snapshot and backs it up, so you shouldn't see any .snapshot directories in the backup anyway.

The only way to do it is to not use the "ALL" saveset and setup each volume you want to backup in the saveset list.

If memory serves, it depends on the NDMP device you are backing up. Which type of NAS are you backing up with NDMP?
