To back up exchange via the module you need to customise the client
record a bit.

In the client record for that host change the savesets from All to
MSEXCH:IS and the 'Backup Command' from blank to 'nsrxchsv'

You will note that this only backs up the data in exchange - if you want
to also backup the file systems you will need a second client record for
this host set up as usual to do that - this has to be run by a separate
group to the other client record - usually we have a special group just
for exchange backups to do this.

When the backup runs correctly you get a very different set of messages
in the savegroup report - eg:

Subject: [Networker] *NIX Admin backing up Windows platforms - gotchas?
and Exchange

Greetings -

I've been backing up *NIX systems for years, recently migrated the
server platform to RHEL4 and Networker v7.3.2, and have managed to
muddle along thanks in a huge part to the information obtained on this
list. Now I'm adding Windows clients for the first time and except for
being a superficial user, I am fairly ignorant on some of the jargon and
technical issues wrapped around the Windows platform. I have 5 Win
clients that have already been introduced into my backups and apparently
seem to be backing up correctly. I'd used my personal workstation as a
guinea pig and successfully performed a simple file restore. I have the
VSS client modules and I have Exchange modules sized for the platforms
and their complement of CPUs, installed and enabled. Today, I will be
adding an Exchange Server client to the fray. I've read the doco,
queried the Windows admin, and in anticipation, monitored the list for
any helpful info. Other than installing the client software and
configuring via nsradmin per normal, I don't see any additional
configuration areas that I need to do anything about, so, are there any
special gotchas for Win clients and/or Exchange in particular? It's
looking way to easy at this point and I feel like I'm missing something
important.
