Additional named instances have to be explicitly referenced, and I think they
have to run in a separate group. It is documented in the manual for the
business module.

box.

I am current working on the 5.0 Networker BSM.

When we have both SQL2005 and SQL2000 loaded onto a non-clustered box
the Networker SQL GUI does not show the named instances as being
selectable.

I can backup the named instance using MSSQL$NAM: and recover using the
command line , but the gui ignores anything other than the default
SQL2005 instance.

Has anyone else see this or know of a workaround.

I also get a message in the backup stating "skipping building the named
instance directory"....

Any help appreciated.

Ian.
