Greetings all:
I have a question for anyone that can provide insight. We have been for
the past YEAR rebooting our Storage Node every night after our job
scheduler (Tivoli Job Scheduler) does it's "Day Flip". We were told by
our "Storage Team", that it was a temporary fix for our BCV's. Over a
year later we are still having to reboot this server EVERY night.
Comment From Storage Team:
Replication manager will always require a mount host, what you have to
remember it's a windows mount host so from time to time the scsi channel
will become overwhelmed and as such will drop the ball from a mount
perspective
We are Windows 2K3 / Networker version 7.2 / Our storage node has 4
Fiber LTO1 Drives attached via SCSI in an L-80 Jukebox.
Anyones insights would be great, as based on the comment above, this
reboot is NOT going away.
