Davina is correct.

Another way is, if you are not sharing your library, 
to schedule at regular time (taskmgr for windows or crontab for Unix)
a "nsrjb -u" without specifying any drives.

Any mounted and idle device will me unmounted.

Not quite. DDS is not necessary, just a shared jukebox.
