verify also you installed correct storage node package
and not only client kit (check for /usr/sbin/nsr/nsrmmd binary) ?

Verify also hostname resolution from both sides (server and SN),
/nsr/res/servers is filled corretly (if not, may prevent the backup
server to start nsrmmds).

/usr/sbin/nsr/nsrexecd

That's okay until you enable a device. Once it's enabled, it should be
starting a 'nsrmmd' daemon as well.

Once the drive is up, make sure the daemon is there.

The "Start the NetWorker Daemons" section of the install guide (I don't
have a copy for 7.3.2) should list the daemons that should be running.

I assume you also installed the driver package as well as the client and
node packages, correct?

Anything in the log files on the storage node?
