Re: [Networker] Networker backups through Cisco Load balance/CSS/CSM modules

We have a cicso load balancer. Not sure what kind. Very old and could
not handle the client data going through it when backups were running.
We did have to run a network connection from the switch to our backup
server bypassing the load balancer. Best I can do for you.

Subject: [Networker] Networker backups through Cisco Load
balance/CSS/CSM modules
Just wondering if anyone else out there does Networker backups that go
through a Cisco 6XXX switch using content switch modules (load
balancing).
We've had off and on issues with several of our backup clients going
through these switches, specifically larger file-based servers.
Anyone else have this issue? One of our workarounds is to create a
backup-only network for these clients, but that's not always feasible,
nor desired.
