It might be that the client index needs to be checked (nsrck)? Or,
perhaps disk space is an issue?
However, without more clarification, it's hard to say. Are you seeing
specific error messages?
What do the log files say (/nsr/logs/messages, daemon.log) on the
primary backup server?
