I would suggest getting latest teaming drivers for the NIC first, secound
make sure your ethernet switch supports port sharing( binding etc) and the
configuration is correct, test the team by removing one of the members and
see if the failover is occouring as designed, if the team is set up for
failover capability it may not get utilized all the time ( one of the nic
may be standby) in this config you may only achive one NIC performance.
check your server\switch vendor for correct teaming config.
other then that you may have port incompatibity causing lots of errors,
i.e auto negotiation vs full duplex and flow control parameters.
Do a simple throughput test by coping large amt of data with one nic then
two and monitor ethernet switch utilization.
