Hello,
They are right, some attributes of the client are global meaning if you
have multiple instance of the same client the properties are eqal on all
client instances. i.e client alias.
One way you may be able to gain more granular client configuration if you
specify a different save set for the secound instance for the same client,
now if you have multiple groups where the both instance of client need to
belong, that can get tricky.
You may be better off having one set of client group and using savgrp
scirpt to initiate all backup ( hereby changing, level, retention etc with
an external schedular).
Any way may be someone else may have other suggestions
