[Networker] Designating a tape pool for adhoc backups
2007-04-12 09:10:57
Hello,
You could create a seperate group for this clients backups ( if you did
that , you can design a pool that is only being used by this group, you
would associate the new pool under media managment and only allow adhoc
group to enter it).
Or
If you are using cmd line parameters you may be able to supply -b ( pool)
while initiating backup ( check the cmd line reference on save)
I have seen some odd instance when even when you have your groups\pool
configuration correct , incorrect tapes are being requested by networker,
in this case there may be other workarround, however, if you re-create
your group\pool relationship, it does work.
