Are you sure the password for the user has not expired or spelled wrong
since all you see is asterisks?
We use username/password on Netware and it works fine. Best practice
is to create a Netware account to use for backups and set it never to
expire in NetWare.

I am receiving the following error message on an attempted backup of
some netware servers:
SAVE.NLM: Cannot Login - No user name or password supplied
The username and password has been supplied. Are there any known
issues using this username for netware backups?

  Thanks
