I understand that if you pull the 7.2 Xwindows GUI binaries, you can still use 
them.  You just don't have the new functions.  So if they just do restarts or 
client configs or some other 'simple' task, maybe it's adequate.  This is 3rd 
hand knowledge and I've never attempted it so YMMV; but passing X over ssh 
beats heck out of trying to pass java, any day of the year.
