When you do the jbconfig select adding an SJI jukebox.
This path will make no shortcuts by detecting devices and expects that you know
the device names for all devices as they are seen on
each of the connected hosts.

Subject: [Networker] Can no longer use Networker
Legato 7.1.2 Solaris 9
I've been having issues with a dynamicly share drive (NDMP) lately. after
replacing my fibre LTO2 drive. I was requested by my vendor to delete and
readd using jbedit. After following instructions the add portion caused
nsrjb to not function. There was a mismatch in the number of unique device
names and the number of devices....
The vendor trhen had me remove all devices including the jukebox and readd
with jbconfig.
jbconfig hangs my system and I can not readd any devices. Is there a way to
manually add devices without doing the SCSI scan (inquire) that seem to be
invoked by jbedit???
This system has worked fine for two years until this process. Tonight will
be my second night with no backup server....
Thanks in advance...
