On Windows for Gig Ethernet, both ports (Nic's and switch ports) should
be set to 1000 MBps Auto. I have Dell Servers, W2K03 and Intel/Broadcom
Nics. Make sure the switch Ports are set the same.

No. The NIC  in the blades does not offer that option.
