I thought LTO2 Devices were only 40 MB/s devices??

Windows can handle larger block sizes, it just that the "Default" size
is 64kb. Refer to Legato's Performance Tuning Guide. I did it on all 5
of our backup server's and I routinely get 50-80 MB write speeds using
LTO-2 drives.

If they are talking about Scatter/Gather buffers they are on the right
track.
