Davina,

What I like about Networker, isn't the software, it is the team around
the software. Whether they (networker developers/support) always agree
with us (the customers) or not, the one thing we can all agree on is
that they communicate with us and are not adverse to us communicating
with them.

Davina, Your clarity of thought reigns supreme! The old patching system
once explained by you, does sound like it worked fine. Although I (as
someone who came in at v7.2.1) had no idea it existed.

Mergers are wonderful, but occasionally the new person placed as the
HMFiC is from the wrong team or with a differing view. He or She merely
needs to be enlightened as to the way things "should" be. Once they have
all the facts, they will either correct it, or tell us why their way is
better.

I can promise you that I have first hand knowledge that EMC monitors
this list DAILY.

So my suggestion might be, either repost your original message below
entitled -- OPEN LETTER TO EMC/NETWORKER; Patch Release -- Then everyone
on the list who is a customer who agrees can simply reply in list, that
they agree. That or there must be some electronic Petition Website out
there where you create a petition similar to what is stated below and
then you have people log on and sign electronically forwarding the
results to EMC development.

If that doesn't work fly to EMC Corporate HQ in Hoptikin, Mass near
Boston and have a TEA PARTY of your own! <Grin>
