They did. It was called "NetWorker Laptop" and it was OEM'ed from a
company called "Connected Corp." which has since been acquired by Iron
Mountain. Iron Mountain sells it now.

Is anyone aware of some good desktop backup software that they would
recommend which is cheap or free.
Legato (aka NetWorker) had one at one time, not sure if that was carried
over by EMC, but I thought they had dropped it.
