I have a server that has a very large file system that changes only once
every couple of months. Recently, I had a request for a restore. I
noticed that I had no recent (last two weeks) index available for
browsing. When I looked up the index where the file system last had
files added to it, I noticed that I could browse that index, but I could
still not browse indexes created by subsequent backup sessions (even the
full backup sessions).

Is this something Networker does to save space on indexes?

I am currently running Networker 7.2.2 on Redhat.

It confused me, because I thought I had a serious index corruption until
I verified that this was consistent behavior. Every time the file
system changed, I am able to browse that index, but I am not able to
browse again until a subsequent index recorded another change.
