You should have set the "Application Information" attribute of the
client to have  "EXTRACT_ACL=y" when backing up the data.

When recovernig files (backed up using NDMP)to an alternate location on
the filer, the recovered files take on the permissions of the target
folder.  Is there another way to have the restored files retain the
original permissions?
